Delete Your Account

Last updated: June 12, 2026
The short version: You can delete your account directly in the app — Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes all your ministry data on the device and signs you out. Your contacts and visit notes live only on your device, so there is no server copy of them to delete. To also have the name and email associated with your sign-in removed from our records, email support@returnvisits.org.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Field Service Companion and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Read the warning and tap Continue.
  4. The app offers to create an encrypted backup first. This is optional but recommended — with the backup file and its recovery phrase, you can restore your data later, even on a different device.
  5. Type delete to confirm.
  6. Close the app fully and reopen it to finish.

What deletion removes

Deleting your account permanently deletes everything on your device:

You are signed out, and your sign-in details are removed from the device. Without a backup file and its recovery phrase, deletion cannot be undone.

The name and email address associated with your sign-in (received when you signed in with Apple or Google) are removed from our records on request — email support@returnvisits.org and we will respond within 30 days. The same applies to any diagnostic and analytics data associated with your account, as described in our privacy policy.

Nothing else is stored on our servers

Field Service Companion keeps no server copy of your ministry data. Your contacts, visit notes, literature records, and reminders exist only on your device, so beyond the sign-in identity described above, there is nothing to delete on our side. Backup files you created are encrypted and stay wherever you saved them — they are under your control.

No access to the app?

If you no longer have the app or the device, email support@returnvisits.org from the email address you signed up with, and we will delete the account and its associated data from our records.
